NoPa Kitchen + Bar (San Francisco)

San Francisco is a wonderful food city. I don't think I'll ever get tired of it, no matter how many times I visit. NOPA has been on my radar for awhile, and from what I gather from trusty Yelp, it is one of the most popular brunch places in town. So obviously I had to drag my family there to try it out for myself. 
Custard French Toast - blueberries and lemon butter ($7 for half portion, $14 for full portion)
Desserts first! Our server wisely advised us to go with the half portion (we later saw the full portion from other tables and it was alarmingly big!) As far as French toasts go, this one was spot on. The outside- perfectly crisp, accompanied by the most divine lemon butter. The blueberries had just enough sweetness that we hardly needed the side of syrup at all. Delish!

One of the best meals I had when I visited Macau last December was at Inagiku, situated in Starworld Hotel. Almost everything was superb! I will let the pictures speak for themselves.

Brunch at L'ouvrier

One of my friends raved about brunch at L'ouvrier, so I had to try it out for myself. 
The decor was minimalist with predominantly white furniture and white walls. 
French press coffee ($3 per person)
The coffee was good, and even better when served in a dainty, pretty teacup.
