There aren't many brunch options in Waterloo that I know of. After a bit of quick research, it came to my attention that Village Creperie also serves brunch on weekends. Suddenly, crepes for breakfast seem like a brilliant idea.
My breakfast crepe #1 ($12)- spicy sausage, baby spinach, 2 eggs, aged cheddar and mozzarella cheese, drizzled with hollandaise and Mexican hot sauce. On the whole, I thought that the hot sauce overpowered the hollandaise.
This was breakfast crepe #2 "the dianne" ($10) - 2 eggs, bacon, cheddar and mozzarella, served with maple syrup. Did I mention that I love almost everything with maple syrup?
Although I liked the concept of breakfast crêpes, I personally prefer their dinner options. Too bad I won't be in school for another four months to try more crêpes!
