A Day of Sweets

I love Dark Horse Espresso in Chinatown. The space is so bright and spacious and they make a killer latte.
On this day, I satisfied my sweet tooth with a toffee almond milk chocolate cookie, provided by Circles & Squares. The cookie was amazing! It was perfectly chewy and the toffee flavour really stood out!
Later, I stopped by Dufflet and bought a slice of raspberry cheesecake for my mom. Of course, I couldn't resist trying a little of it, and it was predictably delicious: perfectly creamy and cheesy!
Before going home, I also picked up two salted caramel macarons from Nadège for my family to try. The salted caramel flavour is my absolute favourite! I ended up eating half of my mom's, since she thought it was too sweet. My sister, on the other hand, really enjoyed her macaron. At $2.10 apiece, I'll have to search for cheaper alternatives around the city.
