Brunch @ Angie's Kitchen

I love going to new places to try out brunch, instead of always relying on Cora's. So after doing a little bit of research, I decided to try out Angie's Kitchen in Waterloo. It's a charming, welcoming greasy spoon that has a rather funky vibe.
Angie’s Own Omelette: Sautéed ham, onions and a blend of cheddar cheese, served with white toast, homefries and homemade jam. This was alright, but I found the homefries to be a tad too dried. The potato was bland and even ketchup couldn't save it. The omelette was also rather unmemorable.
Angie’s Son-in-Law Sandwich: eggs, bacon and melted cheddar cheese on Angie’s homemade English Muffin with homefried potatoes. I liked my breakfast sandwich a lot more than the omelette, but I guess you can't really go wrong with a good old breakfast sandwich. Again, I didn't eat much of the homefries. Maybe next time, I'll just stick to Cora's.
