祥記麵家 Oja Sopa De Fita Cheung Kei

This tiny, rather sketchy establishment is very well-known for their prawn roe noodles (蝦子撈麵).

Of course, we ordered the famous prawn roe noodles. Honestly, it was pretty good, but I wasn't entirely impressed with the steep price and tiny portions. There was nothing extraordinary that would make me come back here for this.
Another signature dish is the golden fried fish balls (炸鯪魚球), served with clam sauce. I rather enjoyed these springy fish balls, and the clam sauce added an interesting tang to the flavour profile. On a side note, I became ghastly sick the day after eating this meal, and although it had nothing to do with the food here, I now have a negative feeling by association towards this place.
